ZORRO is an illustrated cover page for a hypothetical book series, taking my own spin on the character of Zorro, meant to dive deeper into his indeginous roots.

The character of Zorro was initially made a friend and ally of the Native Americans, protecting them from persecution. My interpretation see’s Zorro to be a native himself, donning an alter ego to protect his family and friends from exploitation and oppression.

Currently, this piece is unfinished. Original plans saw a villain and supporting characters alongside Zorro. though time constraints didn’t see this possible at the time. I hope to flesh this one out more once I decide to come back to it.
