MAKE AN IMPACT - HAVE AN IMPACT is an annual illustrated poster design made in collaboration with Penfield Children’s Center and the students of MIAD. The mission of Penfield Children’s Center is to encourage community members to support children with disabilities, the phrase “Make and Impact - Have an Impact” being their tagline, referencing not only the croquet ball they hold annually, but also Penfields mission.

The illustrated poster design I made for this annual collaboration depicts Mac Impact, a child prodigy in the fictional sport of Xtreme Croquet, where large, crowded stadiums host the XCL (pronounced excel), the Xtreme Croquet League. Mac stands proudly, croquet ball in one hand, jet-powered mallet in the other, looking toward the viewer, with a massive croquet ball in the background. The phrase, “Make an Impact, Have an Impact” fills the top half of the piece, with other taglines placed on Mac’s wardrobe.
